Extra Credit 2 (30 Points)
Due Date of all class works: january 15, 2018
Pick TWO out of the three following options for a total of 30 points.
Option 1: Opinion Writing (15 Points)
In a minimum of 150 words, write on what broomstick and broom manufacturing company from 1926 you think has the greatest role played in the history of broom making and the wizarding society as a whole and why you think so. You can add information from the lesson as well as make up some, just make sure to be consistent with what is mentioned in the lesson. Anything fun is welcome!
Option 2: Creative Writing (15 Points)
In a minimum of 150 words, write your childhood experiences involving a broomstick. All of us have broomstick experiences when we were still young. It may be your first broom flight or the experience of having fun with your family in your backyard or just simply watching a newly-released broomstick in a store stand. You can use any of the broomsticks mentioned in the lesson; be consistent with the information on the broomsticks used, among other things.
Option 3: Art Project (15 Points)
Create a graphic, drawing, picture of someone or something mentioned in the lesson as long as it has anything to do with broomsticks. Upload the image to a photo hosting site and send me the link (NO attachments please!) in the email. With it is a paragraph explaining what the graphic is and the explanation why you choose that graphic in the lesson.
Note: If you got any ideas from the works posted in the Wall of Fame in this class, you can site them as your sources. It would be great if we can extend our knowledge on broom making from the previous works of the past students. Remember, plagiarism will not be tolerated.
