Extra Credit 3 (30 Points)
Due Date of all class works: January 15, 2018
Pick any combination from the following options that will satisfy the 30 points that this extra credit offers.
Option 1: Opinion Writing (10 Points)
In a minimum of 100 words, write on what you think is another factor to consider in making brooms that is not mentioned in the lesson. You can explain why it is important and what will be its effects to the whole process of broom making. Overall, you'll be adding the sixth factor to consider in making brooms and talk about it just like what I did in the lesson. But remember, the factor you'll be talking about is something not mentioned in the lesson.
Option 2: Opinion Writing (20 Points)
In a minimum of 200 words, write a sort-of case study on one of the brooms that we studied in the past lessons. Talk about the the factors considered in making that broomstick, the context of the time that broomstick is made and how it fared the brooms market. Did it go well? Was it successful or a failure? Why? Why was it successful or why did it fail? You can also write suggestions that might have helped to make the broom successful. Analyze the journey of the broom and its maker through your work. THIS OPTION IS MORE PREFERRED! :))
Option 3: Art Project (10 Points)
Create a graphic, drawing, picture of one of the factors mentioned in the lesson. You can draw a building of a company with the logo in it or a logo of a company or your own brand or the logo of your broomstick's name. You can also zoom into the drawing of the special features your broom would offer or the drawing of its handle or the twigs. But you cannot draw your WHOLE conceptualized broom just yet. Just choose one of the factors mentioned in the lesson and make a graphic of a representation of that factor. Upload the image to a photo hosting site and send me the link (NO attachments please!) in the email. With it is a paragraph explaining what the graphic is and the explanation why you choose that graphic in the lesson.
Note: If you got any ideas from the works posted in the Wall of Fame in this class, you can site them as your sources. It would be great if we can extend our knowledge on broom making from the previous works of the past students. Remember, plagiarism will not be tolerated.
Option 4: Word Search (10 Points)
Find the following words found in the lesson in the puzzle. Upload the edited image to a photo hosting site and send me the link (NO attachments please!) in the email.
