HW - Short Essay
Single Broom Maker OR Broom Manufacturing Company
My broomstick will be the product of a single broom maker, not a broom manufacturing company. Creating single brooms is a valuable, almost lost, talent. I personally believe no two fliers are alike, so it makes more sense to tailor each broom to the individual. I am sure that those who want a good quality broom will come seek out my broom making services.
For what Primary Purpose will the Broomstick be Used
All broomsticks will be specially handcrafted and designed for the individual needs of the world's finest seekers. It will specialize in balance, agility, and changing speeds. Of course, any others who are in need of a broomstick will not be turned away. The broomstick will be built to respond extremely efficiently to even the broom flier's tiniest body movements.
What Material you Use for the Handle and the Twigs
The handle of the broomstick will be mahogany. There are a nice variety of mahogany trees to help individualize each broom. Mahogany is also associated with reaching great speeds in the air. If, for any reason, there is a mahogany shortage, ash will be used as the alternative.
Similar to the Firebolt, the broomstick will have birch twigs. Birch can become as thin as paper, which allows for finer changes in the movements of the broom. The inner bark of birch also has healing properties. This could prove useful to seekers since they are the quidditch position that is most likely to sustain an injury.
What Other Features you Want for your Broomstick
This broomstick will be equipped with the most powerful braking system with the ability for a seeker to pull out of an opponent's Wronski Feint. Of course, the broom will not do it on its own. It is still up to the seeker to realize that there is a Wronski Feint. However, the connection between the broomstick and the seeker will be so innate that the realization will initiate the brake.
What the Name of the Broom Is
Windbreaker! This broomstick will fly faster than the wind, breaking record speeds. The broom fliers with literally break the wind. It also has the best 'brake' in the world.

EC - Opinion Writing
The Silver Arrow is the success story of the brooms of the Cottage Industry. The Moontrimmer was released just previously in 1901 with the ability to fly higher than any other broom.
Leonard Jewkes quickly modified his prototype with what he learned from the design of the Moontrimmer. He noted that the slim handle could still keep the broom stable. Leonard Jewkes sanded down his broom handle so thin that it almost looked like an arrow. Hence, he decided to call it an Arrow. Feeling inspired, he wanted his Arrow to be the fastest broom on the market. Leonard Jewkes worked day and night to increase the speed of his broomstick. To prevent other cottage-industry broom-makers from seeing his work, Leonard Jewkes would only fly his broom at night. Once the broom hit 70 miles per hour, it seemed to glow silver in the moonlight. It was then that he knew this broom would be known as the Silver Arrow.
Unfortunately, Leonard Jewkes was met with a lot of skepticism when he first released the Silver Arrow. He was reluctant to let people try out his broom in fear that they would steal his design. The cottage-industry was starting to become very competitive. He would only sell broomsticks to known quidditch players in the beginning. Luckily, this gave him a chance to make a nice batch of Silver Arrows before the demand started increasing.
Even though Leonard Jewkes should have trusted more people to help him make more broomsticks, the Silver Arrow is the broom that all racing brooms are modeled after. Original Silver Arrows are passed down as valuable family heirlooms.
